I am quite honored to offer an introduction for Naomi Castro, owner of Bonded Inspections. I know Naomi to believe that she is just an ordinary person, doing the best she can, but not really aware of how her buoyant personality and generous nature bring pleasure to those whose lives she touches.

Naomi would be the last one to think that "putting it on the line" for a friend or putting 100% into whatever she does was something extra-ordinary.

To enlighten one to all of Naomi's qualities and her personal and business accomplishments would be a daunting task indeed. Therefore, the following thumbnail sketch is provided along with a few news and magazine articles which reveal parts of the many faceted and hard-working persona known as Naomi J. Castro.

During the past 15 years, while operating Bonded Inspections (a real estate inspection company) with direct "hands on" management, Naomi still managed to win 1st Place in the "Spam" cooking contest (which requires an original recipe and preparation and judging of the actual dish), get featured in business and news articles, attend and get involved with and serve on the Board of Directors of the California Women in Chambers of Commerce (CWCC), attend CWCC Conventions and Seminars, donate time and her culinary skills to the Albuquerque Press Club, donate gourmet meals to 3 shifts of the local fire station on a twice-monthly basis), gather donations for CWCC, the APC, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and her son's Church, cater several events as a donation to the needy, donate clothes, food and money to charitable organizations, help raise funds for friends' and neighbors' college and catastrophic events and somehow still find time to visit her sons and grandchildren in Kansas twice a year.

Naomi J. Castro ("Mickey" to all who know her) was born in Brooklyn NY in 1953. While growing up in this exciting and challenging environment, she did well and was chosen as one (of only 2) students to attend the Music and Arts High School (a very prestigious school) because of her accomplishments as a student in both Music and Art. After she finished school, Naomi worked in the Wall Street District in the World Trade Center where she acquired her financial and business experience while working for The Swiss Bank, NA. She did volunteer work as the Secretary to Daytop Drug Rehabilitation Center (which her uncle Directed). During this period she married and gave birth to 2 sons. Considering their well being her first priority, she moved to Kansas to provide them with the best environment and education. While in Kansas, Naomi established and for 10 years operated a day-care center for children.

She later moved to New Mexico. She and business associates purchased and rebuilt the old JC Penney Building and started and operated successful Construction and Service Companies in the past. She has contracted with Sandia National Labs, White Sands Missile Range and as well as many other governmental and private companies.

Among her many unmentioned accomplishments, Naomi is known as the "Spam Queen " of Albuq., having won 6 trophies to date. However, she insists that her greatest awards are: 2 sons, (one an Ordained Minister and the other a "super qualified" Microsoft Certified Computer Expert) 5 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren (who she travels far to give equal time to)
